POLAND 2000

The "Zoretsvit" and "Lemkovyna" Ensembles of the Ukrainian School of Arts travelled to Poland in June of 2000. They performed at the 5th Annual Festival of Multicultural Folkloric Ensemble in Wegorzewo, Poland. They also had the unique and distinguished opportunity of performing at the 25th Annual Ukrainian Festival in Sopot, Poland.

The dancers, averaging 9-12 years of age, were a delight to travel with and performed extremely well during all concert appearances.

On behalf of the Ukrainian School of Arts, special thanks to all volunteer parent chaperones for their continual support during this trip. Also, we would also like to thank everyone who in any way contributed to the success of this excursion in terms of the required detailed planning, coordination, communication, fundraising and financial assistance.
